We're excited to announce that we'll be once again exhibiting at the Scottish Festival and Highland Games in Columbus, IN, the weekend of September 10-11th, 2011. We expect our "clan count" to be expanded to over 60 clans, with all the additions based on requests over the past year. In addition, we'll be offering The Clan Candle in two fragrances this year - our original "Highland Meadow," and also "Ceilidh," inspired by the success of our custom candle, "Charissa's Ceilidh." Of course, we'll still be offering the ability to "Claim your Clan," and customize your color and fragrance blend if desired.

We're delighted to announce the launch of "The Clan Candle" by Middle Davids, which will see its premiere at the Scottish Festival and Highland Games in Columbus, IN, the weekend of September 11-12th, 2010.
In honor of Tauria's Scottish heritage, we're working on our first Clan Candle, "The
McMillan," and we expect to have all of the Clans participating in the Scottish Festival ready in time for the event. Nearly every family takes pride in its heritage, and certainly the Scottish Clans, with their crests and tartans are no exception. Each Clan Candle will carry its own unique label that incorporates the clan crest and motto and one of the Clan's family tartans.
Below is a prototype design of our first Clan Candle, with many thanks to Mike McMillen of McMillen Design for his beautiful hand lettering and photo of the Clan Tartan. We're really excited about offering Clans the opportunity to light a candle at special events and gatherings, and eventually to "Claim their Clan Candle" as a tribute or to honor their own family story and customize fragrance and color if desired. More information is sure to follow, so please watch this space!
