Helping your organization succeed has been the heart of our business since we began in 2002, and it still is!  Every aspect of our program has been crafted to ensure that your group has the best possible result both now and for the long term.  Here's how:

  1. Your customer wins:  Our candles are hand-poured, all natural soy in wonderful fragrances and beautiful colors.  They sell for $19.99 in stores, which already compares favorably to our national brand competition, which typically sells for $22+.  You set the price for your fundraiser, but most groups sell them for $20 each, meaning that your customers know they are getting a fair deal while helping your organization.
  2. Consumable but long-lasting:  Because your customers will enjoy burning their candles, you can return year after year and develop repeat customers.  Unlike food items which are typically gone in a matter of days, our candles will sit on their mantle, desk or windowsill for months.
  3. Custom Private Labels:  Nearly all of our fundraising partners choose to add a label that reminds customers of their connection to you.  This not only helps improve your sales, but also increases customer loyalty, and is something we include free of charge!
  4. Tea-Light Samples included:  We provide each person with a "sales kit" that includes a full sized sample candle, and a set of ten tea-lights so that customers can see and smell exactly what they are ordering.  We even provide extra motivation by letting successful sellers earn the right to keep their samples at no charge!
  5. We provide beautiful custom brochures and order forms that include information about your organization, helping to tell your story to those considering supporting you.
  6. We are happy to work with any size organization, large or small.
  7. Profitability is very high, normally 45-50% of sales, or $9-$10 per candle.

The Franklin Community High School Choral Department is an award winning ensemble that includes five different choirs.  In the fall of 2010, seventy-eight vocalists participated a candle fundraiser to support their travel to perform in New York City, which they accomplished in the Spring of 2011. We look forward to working with them again this Fall!

"Middle Davids candles was not only by far the most profitable fundraiser in the history of our program (to the tune of $10,000), but was also one of the most organized and enjoyable experiences.  It's great to be able to work with people who pride themselves on customer service and guarantee a quality product.  They really care about our students... Middle Davids provided a personalized product to really market our program as well as the candles.  Thanks Middle Davids, for your outstanding program and sponsoring our students as they travel!  We couldn't have done it without you.  We would highly recommend this fundraiser to anyone."  -- C. Garber, Director of Choirs

The Marquis of Granby Ancient Fyfe & Drum Corps has been an honored tradition since its founding in Granby, CT, in 1969.  The Marquis is a historic recreation of a Revolutionary War unit that recreates the spirit of brave and patriotic boys who contributed to their country's fight for freedom. We just completed our third fundraiser with Marquis and Granby, and Middle Davids is pleased to support such a fine group of young people.

"Our best fundraiser ever, greatly exceeded our expectations!" -- L. Garcia, Organizer

People to People Student Ambassadors were our first fundraising client in 2003, and since then we've worked with over forty delegations and hundreds of students as they prepared for life-changing educational journeys that foster friendship, build the foundation for personal success, and offer unique access to people, places, and activities. 2011 has been our most exciting year yet, as students have raised well over $30,000 in trip funding through our program this year.

"I Can't imagine why everyone wouldn't be working with your program!" -- L. Anders, People to People Student Ambassadors

It is an annual tradition for the 8th Grade Students of Franklin Community Middle School to travel to Washington, DC, to visit key sites of our country's history and government as they complete their preparation for High School. In 2010, they turned to Middle Davids and were able to raise more funds from our candles than the two other fundraisers they used combined! We're delighted to support such a powerful educational opportunity for our young students.

In the Spring of 2011, Union Elementary School's PTO raised over $3000 to cover the entire cost of sending the whole student body on a day-long trip to an outdoor educational and fun activity at a nearby Youth Camp.

The Monrovia High School Winter Guard turned to Middle Davids in late 2009 to help raise funds to support their travel to competitions, and they received a Gold rating in the Indiana State competition.

The Southwestern High School Culture Club visited Middle Davids in early 2010, enjoyed a tour and helped make candles, then used our fundraiser program to support their cultural activities.  Students in the club enhance their language studies by studying and experiencing cultural activities, food and arts from the all over the world.
